A Cow in Angkor, Siem Reap

This cow has the great Tonle Sap lake as its backdrop. The lake is a haven for wildlife. It is visited by millions of migrating birds, especially during the period from December through March.

Southeast Asia’s largest lake is not far fron Siem Riep. It is a shallow lake of about 100 km long, where people go fishing. The Tonle Sap lake is a beautiful and tranquil place to explore by boat. It is fascinating to see the numerous floating villages – made up of houseboats, gas stations, schools and even karaoke clubs – in the lake that constantly relocates as the water level shrinks and grows dramatically.
