Cop in Bangkok, Thailand

The mystery in this image is appealing. The policeman looks as though he might be a riot cop shielding his identity. In fact, he is guarding himself from horrendous pollution.

The metal rail, which he could be using as protection, partially conceals our view of him. The rail shimmers as though polished, and the cement that supports it conceals the cop’s hands. What could he be holding?

I like the shapes and colors here. The bus frames the traffic cop and the metal rail cuts through the two.
