A Dead Banyan Tree in Angkor Wat, Siem Reap

Ta Prohm is a fascinating depiction of man versus nature. The trees and temples  have blended to become one, where the temple walls have been invaded by huge roots from giant banyan trees.

Many of the Angkor Wat temples have decayed but their ruins are most impressive.
