Eric Van Buskirk's border crossings in Europe, Asia and the Americas were made during a fifteen year period in over 30 countries. Most were done on the cheap: all were independent (no tour guides or companies). Most of the time travel was with others, some he met while exploring countries off the tourist trail. In other cases, friends planned with him, and their goals were compatible with the one passion which kept him exploring: photography.
